About Us
Award-Winning Baking and Cookery Skills
Margaret, along with her husband Kevin and children, Isabelle and Tom (the quality control team!), live in Roscommon Town and have established the Cookery School in the heart of their farmlands.
Margaret is passionate about protecting and preserving the art of home baking and cooking and draws upon the many traditional skills, that have their roots steeped in Irish culture. Always a keen baker, Margaret had the honour of winning the National Brown Bread Baking Competition in 2015 in association with Aldi & The National Ploughing Championships.
She began to run children’s cooking and baking classes and very soon the mums were also keen to try their hand at her famous bakes. And so the dream of building her own kitchen classroom was born.
The kitchen focuses very much on sustainability and ingredients are sourced locally and used seasonally. She is supported by hubby Kevin, a keen gardener, who grows their own fruit and veg.
